This is a metal bracelet made by connecting various old Afghan metal pieces, chains, blue Dogon donuts, and ethnic bells.
The bracelet features S-shaped pieces with blue embellishments, plump pieces with floral patterns, diamond-shaped pieces, heart-shaped pieces, and bells that are from the Kuchi tribe. These were used as decorative items. Each part has a unique, aged character from its past use. Chains of varying colors are also linked together.
Both sets of components were originally attached to decorative items, and these are old pieces.
(Size of the green-embellished piece: 3.8cm wide, 1.4cm tall)
The ring-shaped beads are said to have traveled from Holland (or possibly Venice or Germany...) to West Africa, eventually reaching the Dogon people of Mali. They are known as Dutch donuts or Dogon donuts.
The clasp is made of Karen silver.
The parts chime with a rattling sound as they gently knock against each other. ♪
This is a flavorful bracelet that allows you to enjoy old metal pieces.
