【Héhuān Glass Ear Cup Series】 Winner of the 2003 Good Design "Ceramic Most Sculptural Award"
Designed with the concept of integrating Eastern elements into Western living, this series combines ceramic and glass, offering a warm, translucent texture. Inspired by the Daoist concept of Yin and Yang harmony, it reimagines the ancient "belt hook" design into modern daily ware. The ear handle's patterns are derived from Ming Dynasty jade carvings, with two "huān" (civets, a type of wildcat) facing each other, symbolizing "héhuān" (joyful union), representing wishes for happiness between couples. Héhuān also broadly encompasses mutual trust and seamless cooperation, signifying the creation of win-win outcomes.
