However, if you insist, it's at your own risk haha... Here's a reminder: for pure silver, you can usually restore its shine with a silver polishing cloth. For gold-plated designs, the chemicals and minerals in swimming pools and beaches may not be friendly to the jewellery, and over time, the surface may fade, revealing the colour of pure silver.
