In 2018, I read about Irving Penn’s flowers photography booklet. I was so amazed by the beauty of those still life flowers, and those images make me feel delighted during a difficult period. It was like a click that turns on my passion to draw and paint.
Background
This pointillism flower art concept originated from Irving Penn flowers photography. Irving Penn’s photographs always capture the beauty of life and still life. In his flowers series. He presents the dynamic of a flower by different visual language, like forms, colour, and pattern. This is one of the homage drawing for appreciating his flowers collection.
