Capture a piece of the night sky inside a bead you make yourself.
A beginner-friendly 2-hour class in a small group with instructor assistance. You’ll finish two 8–10 mm starry/cosmic lampworked beads. On site you can add findings to turn them into earrings, a ring, or a bracelet—and wear them home.
What you’ll do
- Learn lampworking equipment & safety: flame control / gathering / annealing basics
- Practice 2–3 beginner techniques: star dots, cosmic swirl, layered shading
- Make the beads by hand and finish/polish them with your instructor’s support

Q. I’m a complete beginner—can I join?
A. Yes. The instructor will assist you at key steps. Beginners can finish two 8–10 mm pieces within 2 hours.
Q. Can I take the finished pieces home the same day?
A. Yes. You may purchase earring hooks, ring mounts, or bracelet findings on site to turn them into jewelry immediately.
Q. Age & class size?
A. Ages 6+ (minors with an adult). 1–4 people per class; private sessions are available.
Q. Any safety notes?
A. Please follow the instructor’s directions. We provide safety goggles and protective gear.
Workshop Description
Notes
1) Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled workshop time are eligible for a full refund.
Example: If your workshop is scheduled for 2021/10/01 at 10:00, you may cancel the booking before 2021/09/28 at 10:00.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled workshop time, up to the workshop start time, will not be accepted and no refund will be issued.
Example: If your workshop is scheduled for 2021/10/01 at 10:00, cancellations made after 2021/09/28 at 10:00 and before 2021/10/01 at 10:00 will not be accepted and will not be refunded.
2) If the workshop is interrupted due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be issued.
3) In the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters, TOQ LTD will contact participants to arrange a reschedule or refund.
4) If rescheduling is needed due to other reasons, TOQ LTD will do its best to accommodate participants so they can enjoy the workshop experience.
5) Workshops are held in small groups to provide a safe and comfortable experience.
