This is a one-of-a-kind Handbag size AZUMA bag made of vintage KIMONO fabric. Traditional Japanese bags. It is made by folding a rectangular piece of cloth like origami. This is smaller than our regular AZUMA bags. My items are easy to upcycle, as they return to a square piece of cloth when unraveled (unsew). Such treatment of KIMONO is the very spirit of the Japanese, which I want to carry on. The KIMONO fabrics I use were given to me by old friends and fans of my work, or found at thrift stores. ------- All items are sewn by the artist alone. [About care] KIMONO fabrics are delicate and prone to color fading, color migration, and shrinkage. Dry cleaning is generally recommended. You can try with attached scrap to wash it at home.
