Thai believes that it represents the abundance of agriculture and bring good fortune to the family. It used to hang near the window and above baby's cradle in the old days. We would like to bring back this traditional craft so, we created a collection of Pla ta-pien earring for a memory of our tradition and to share with others. We learn the technique from Thai artisans who are still producing Pla tapien which mostly live in Ayudthaya, the old capital city of Siam. However, the material has been collect in Chonburi province. This woven fish is made by our hand individually. They are all made from 925 silver.
