**Embrace Series ~ Jing Rong - Naturally Dyed Linen & Leather Crossbody Bag, Awarded the 2023 Taiwan Green Craft Certification by the Ministry of Culture** "Jing Rong," the smallest in the "Embrace Series," is a compact crossbody bag designed to hold smaller items. Its unisex design appeals to a wide range of ages and is particularly suitable for short outings, such as trips to the bank, post office, convenience store, drugstore, or for small shopping excursions, and even for men visiting friends. The bag's body is crafted from thick linen, repeatedly dyed with indigo, madder, and pomegranate rinds, then treated with persimmon juice through multiple applications, drying, and washing processes. This extensive dyeing imbues the thick linen fibers with rich, saturated color and subtle, layered variations. While the colors are deep, their stable combinations create a timeless aesthetic and a sense of substance. Furthermore, the persimmon juice, rich in tannins and plant-based胶质 (gelatinous substances), imparts antibacterial properties and a firm texture to the linen. The front of the bag features two design options: one with a patchwork of deep indigo and deep brick red, and another with a combination of deep brick red and a yellowish-brown hue. The flap is made of black cowhide, extending from back to front, covering about half the bag's height. The inner side of the leather flap is adhered with pigskin, giving it excellent structure and a supple feel. This textural contrast between the supple leather and the thick, tightly woven linen enhances the unique qualities of each material, resulting in a rich tactile experience. A zippered pocket is added to the upper rear of the bag, providing secure storage for small essentials like coins, cards, tickets, tissues, or handkerchiefs. The lower part of the bag is wrapped in deep jujube-red cowhide, preventing the bottom fabric from direct friction with surfaces, thus avoiding deformation and reinforcing the base's support. An adjustable double-layered jujube-red cowhide strap is attached to the top of the bag. The strap, measuring 26mm in width, offers substantial feel and excellent durability, suitable for both crossbody and shoulder wear. A vintage bronze zipper secures the top opening. The interior features a main compartment lined with waterproof fabric, a zippered pocket on the rear, and two small slip pockets on the front for organized storage of smaller items.
