Wood-fired ceramics are the essence of ancient ceramic firing techniques. Wood is used as fuel. It takes 3 to 7 days to fire. It is labor-intensive and time-consuming, and requires the accumulation and inheritance of experience. The traces of ashes and fire left on the ceramic body form a natural beauty. Each piece is a unique work of art.
The success or failure of a work depends on the natural relationship between "earth, fire, wood and kiln".
Wood-fired porcelain can be roughly divided into unglazed and glazed. Unglazed porcelain is fired directly from adobe, which presents the most rustic texture of wood-fired porcelain.
Glaze firing is the effect of adding glaze, which allows the glaze colors to blend and interweave through fire to create works with countless variations.
In addition to the artistic value of the natural beauty of wood-fired tea, the attachment of natural carbon during firing can make the water softer and the tea taste sweeter.
