Over time and with exposure to air and the environment, it will naturally oxidize, which may cause a decrease in luster and a deepening of the metal's color. This is a normal process. * If your brass oxidizes and turns black, here are a few methods to restore its shine: * Simply use a polishing cloth to restore luster. The cloth turning black is normal and it should not be washed, as this will diminish its effectiveness. * Gently scrub with a toothbrush dipped in a small amount of dish soap or toothpaste, then dry. * Wipe with a clean cloth and a small amount of brass polish to restore the brass's shine. Afterwards, rinse with dish soap to remove any residual polish and prevent potential allergic reactions during wear. * Preserved floral jewelry is made from fresh flowers and can last for over 5 years. Please avoid humid environments. * When not wearing, store in a hard case to prevent crushing. Avoid storing in pockets. * Avoid wearing jewelry while bathing in hot springs or swimming. *Note 1: Preserved Flowers > These are fresh flowers treated with special solutions to preserve them.
