**◈ A Word from the Designer**
Since ancient times, **Citrine** has been known as the **"Stone of Wealth."** It was believed that possessing citrine brought the blessings of the god of wealth, ensuring a continuous flow of prosperity.
Natural **Citrine** is cherished for its **clear and elegant hue**; specimens with a light, translucent color are particularly rare.
The designer has meticulously selected three types of **top-grade** citrine (**chrome yellow, canary yellow, and a co-existing yellow-white blend**) for this design, allowing you to **collect three premium citrine varieties in a single piece.**
The overall piece is **flawlessly transparent with a uniform color.** The main pendant and the terminal bead are intricately carved with the **"endless knot" (meander pattern)**, symbolizing **boundless auspiciousness.** The overall **form is minimalist**, designed to **maximize the richness and beauty of the top-grade citrine.**
**This is a one-of-a-kind piece, awaiting its destined owner of prosperity and beauty.**
**A New Concept for 108-Bead Bracelets**
In traditional thinking, 108-bead bracelets were exclusively for Buddhist practitioners. This notion is rather outdated:p
While 108-bead bracelets do originate from Buddhist scriptures and their length allows them to be wrapped multiple times around the wrist or worn as a necklace, the materials, styles, and decorative uses have evolved with the times. They are now more fashionable, versatile, and suitable for layering. Designers must adapt to user preferences to create unique, customized pieces.
Furthermore, **108 has never been exclusively for Buddhists. Even non-Buddhists can embrace the auspicious meaning of 108 and its potential for multi-layered styling.**
We often share with our clients that a 108-bead bracelet is an external object. Whether we are Buddhist or not, chanting sutras or praying is primarily an inner practice. We should **not be attached to or hindered by material possessions**, nor should we be fixated on the material, number of beads, method of handling, or whether to wear it on the left or right hand.
When holding prayer beads, one should seek convenience and ease, just as the "Diamond Sutra" states: "All phenomena are like dreams, illusions, bubbles, and shadows; like dew drops and lightning flashes; thus they should be contemplated." Bracelets and prayer beads are also phenomena, so one should not be overly concerned with them. **Comfort should always be the priority.**
**The Origin of 108 Prayer Beads**
The 108 beads represent 108 types of afflictions. Within the six senses—eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind—each experiences suffering, pleasure, and indifference. Within the six senses, there are also concepts of good, bad, and neutral, totaling 18. Combined with the three aspects of time—past, present, and future—this amounts to 36. These, when multiplied by three, result in 108.
The 108 types of afflictions signify the myriad troubles that sentient beings face, which can lead to various negative actions. Therefore, they must be eradicated to achieve a state of tranquility. Wearing prayer beads serves as a constant reminder to cultivate the compassion of a Buddha or Bodhisattva, maintaining a calm and composed mindset in any environment.
In Tibetan, prayer beads are called "trang-wa," which means to remember, to think of, or to recall. It also signifies continuity. It represents the continuous remembrance of one's guru, yidam, dakini, and dharma protector, as well as their continuous compassion towards me, bestowing blessings and wisdom.
**Citrine**
Citrine is also known as the "Stone of Wealth." In ancient Greek mythology, citrine emitted a powerful light of wealth at night, aiding the hero Jason in his quest for the throne. Thus, it was believed that possessing citrine brought the blessings of Pluto, the Greek god of wealth, ensuring a continuous flow of prosperity.
Natural citrine is cherished for its clear and elegant hue; specimens with a light, translucent color are particularly rare.
In ancient times, citrine was formed naturally from amethyst when exposed to heat in nature, making its yield scarce. Prolonged exposure to radiation can cause its color to deepen, gradually shifting towards purple.
**Meander Pattern (Hui Wen)**
The "meander pattern" (Hui Wen) is one of China's classic and ancient geometric designs, embodying the aesthetic principles of traditional Chinese decorative art.
The meander pattern's continuous line symbolizes "endless prosperity," signifying perpetual wealth and abundance.
The meander pattern boasts diverse forms, encompassing both square and circular elements with varied configurations. From the square single-unit type of the Shang and Zhou dynasties to the simplified composite type of the Spring and Autumn period, and the S-shaped and one-stroke continuous type of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Each era's "meander pattern" incorporates elements of the prevailing socio-cultural context, creating lively and generous designs with profound symbolic meaning.

**◈ About Use and Care**
1. Natural gemstones possess their inherent luster and unique textures (such as tiny black spots, internal lines, ice cracks, cloudiness, mineral inclusions, and asymmetry). With frequent wear, you may observe subtle color changes in natural gemstones, often making them appear more translucent and captivating—this is also the best way to maintain them.
For natural organic gemstones (like coral and amber) with low hardness, avoid exposure to acids and alkalis. If soiled, do not use detergents; simply rinse with clean water and wipe with a soft cloth. You may also use a soft brush dipped in a small amount of mineral oil (such as baby oil) for gentle polishing and care.
2. Metal jewelry has a long lifespan. Avoid external force damage or strong acids and alkalis that may cause discoloration.
3. Fabric items (ribbons, cotton, gauze) are soft and comfortable. They have a long lifespan but should be kept away from high temperatures, external force damage, or strong acids and alkalis that may cause discoloration.
4. For any jewelry, when soiled, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with clean water as appropriate, or use a suitable amount of neutral detergent for suitable materials. After washing, ensure the item is dried promptly.
5. When removed, store jewelry properly in its packaging to minimize air exposure, slow down oxidation and discoloration, and avoid stacking or placing heavy objects on it.
