We value a relaxed, natural texture that allows you to enjoy "aging" rather than "deterioration." As our fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving imperfections" may appear, which can look like "fraying." While these are unavoidable with the use of old machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through thorough factory inspections and careful fabric cutting, using them in inconspicuous areas when found. However, due to the nature of the machinery, they cannot be entirely eliminated.
