European leather typically has fewer scars and imperfections, offering superior quality and generally a higher price point than American leather. • Genuine leather, much like human skin, may naturally have minor scars or growth lines. We will do our best to avoid these during production. │ Leather Characteristics │ • Slight variations in color depth between batches are natural. The characteristics of vegetable-tanned leather mean its surface color will deepen with use, gradually transforming into a rich caramel hue over time. • Natural leather surfaces, similar to human skin, have pores. They will absorb water on contact; a faint water mark appearing after air-drying is a natural occurrence. The item will be treated with maintenance oil upon completion to reduce moisture absorption and staining. • Avoid prolonged submersion in water. If the leather accidentally gets wet, place it in a well-ventilated area to air dry, away from direct sunlight. • Light dirt can be gently wiped with a clean cotton cloth, but deep oil stains are difficult to remove; they will become less noticeable over time, so please use with care! And embrace these marks with a relaxed attitude. │ Leather Dyeing │ • This series retains the brushstroke effect of hand-dyeing. Through repeated testing, we've achieved our most satisfying shades and color ratios, making each piece unique. • Dyed products will not fade with casual friction, but vegetable-tanned cowhide naturally reduces color saturation over time. • Undyed leather resembles beige and will deepen in color and show markings based on individual usage and habits, much like a diary recording our life's story. │ Leather Care │ • Frequent use is the best form of care, allowing the natural oils from your hands to nourish the leather. If the edges feel dry, you may apply leather conditioning oil. • When storing, place in a dry area.
