Zarya body rangefinder scale focus USSR film camera FED M39 mount

Zarya (Заря), Soviet scale-focus camera s/n 0043325, M39 mount, 35 mm, "FED" plant, USSR Good condition. Shutter works properly at 1/500 sec only (at 1/250 and longer curtains move extremely lazy), release button must be pressed and released. Shutter curtains had abrasion dots with light leakage. Body has signs of age. Lens is not included, body only. Left bottom lock is absent. Take-up spool is included. History of the camera "Zarya" was made since 1959 till 1961 by plant "FED", Kharkiv, USSR. This is the simplified version of "FED-2" rangefinder camera (type C) - self-timer and rangefinder are absent. Totally 141 228 pieces were made. The Russian word "Zarya" is translated into English as "daybreak, reveille". This is the only scale-focus camera in the world with changeable optics. Camera can use standard film cassetes and dual cylinder cassettes from Leica. Rear aluminium cover is removable. Default lenses is "Industar-26m"(2.8/50). Of course, all lenses with M39 (LTM) mount fit this camera. Shutter speeds are: 1/25, 1/50, 1/125, 1/250, 1/500 and B. Camera has cold shoe (absent at the camera offered) and flash synchrocontact X, the only shutter speed when using flash 1/25 sec. Tripod socket is 3/8''. Shutter is cocked up with barrel. This is the late variant of the camera with enlarged viewfinder window (11x15mm), early variant had 9x15mm. In 1960 "FED" plant made experimental rangefinder "Zarya-3".
