My fourth original picture book, "The Donut's Hole," is officially here!
From the moment Donut Kid was born in 2023,
He carried my own insecurities and self-doubt.
Now, he's grown alongside me on this journey.
From a zine to a fully published picture book,
This path has been truly dreamlike.
Throughout the creative process,
I often felt as though
it wasn't just me creating Donut Kid,
but that we were growing up together.
Compared to myself three years ago,
I think I'm "more able" to accept my imperfections.
Of course, the road ahead is still long,
but I'm willing to walk it slowly, and continue on.
Notably,
just days after "The Donut's Hole" was published,
my sister's child entered the world.
He's named "Little Bread."
I hope this book accompanies Little Bread as he grows.
No matter who you are,
Uncle loves you.
There will be many activities related to "The Donut's Hole" soon.
I invite you all to show your support 💛
