I primarily create accessories using polymer clay, a type of resin clay. I knead, cut, and shape it by hand. Even when I try to make them the same way, each piece turns out differently due to the clay's softness and the ambient temperature. Each time I finish a piece, I feel a sense of delight and a desire to remember its unique color palette. So, I tend to keep small leftover parts. As these parts accumulated, I began to feel it would be a shame to keep them all to myself. This led me to start creating these single earrings some time ago. The small scale makes it easy to conjure up images, and by combining them with various materials like glass and metal beads, they create a versatile look that suits anyone. Since they simply clip on, you can wear them on your earlobe or along the side of your ear. They can also be styled as ear cuffs.
