Have you ever read Hong Kong mystery novels? I believe that everyone has been exposed to different mystery works since childhood, whether it is literature or film and television. When it comes to reasoning, everyone remembers Japan’s Keigo Higashino, but what about the reasoning ecosystem in Hong Kong? This issue of "Cihua" invites six local mystery writers to discuss the evolution of Hong Kong mystery novels in recent years with the special topic "Mystery in Hong Kong", and explore with readers the possible forms of mystery in Hong Kong.
Has "Hong Kong Mystery" become a sufficient label to refer to the overall tendencies of these writers? If possible, what would be the characteristics of "Hong Kong Reasoning" and what is its historical origin? At this point in time, Hong Kong's reasoning may not yet have its own system, and our answers may not be solid, but the questions are often far more important than the answers.
