**| Important Notes |**
* For both wheel throwing and hand-pinching classes, it is recommended to trim fingernails to avoid hindering shaping or scratching the clay body.
* After shaping, pottery requires natural drying, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. These processes are handled by the instructor and take 4-6 weeks. You will be notified to pick up your piece at the studio. If shipping is required, postage will be charged separately. Packaging will be secured with bubble wrap, and a handling fee of NT.50 per box will apply. However, we are not responsible for any damage incurred during transit.
* Firing fees for each piece are calculated separately. Oxidation firing cost = length x width x height (cm, minimum 4cm for any side) x 0.15; Reduction firing cost = length x width x height (cm, minimum 4cm for any side) x 0.2; Colored glaze or dual-glaze cost = length x width x height (cm, minimum 4cm for any side) x 0.2. Students may select from the studio's glaze colors, and the instructor will apply the glaze.
* The kiln firing process involves many uncontrollable factors. Bisque or glaze firing may result in cracks or imperfections in beginner pieces. Refunds will not be provided in such cases.
**| Absence Policy |**
* Classes are by appointment only. For planned absences, please provide at least one day's notice. Make-up classes or transfers can be arranged within one month. No refunds will be issued for unexcused absences.
* If a student cancels a class due to unforeseen circumstances, make-up classes or transfers can be arranged within 90 days.
* In case of natural disasters or other force majeure events preventing attendance, students may opt for a make-up class or transfer. Full refunds are available for cancellations due to such events.
