Workshop Description
Notes
**| Important Notes |**
*For both potter's wheel and hand-building classes, it is recommended to trim your fingernails short to avoid interfering with shaping and scratching the clay body.
*After shaping, the pottery requires natural drying, biscuit firing, glazing, and glaze firing. These processes are handled by the instructor and take approximately 4-6 weeks. You will be notified when your piece is ready for pickup at the studio. If you require shipping, postage will be charged separately. We will use bubble wrap and other protective packaging, with a handling fee of 50 NT dollars per box. However, we are not responsible for any damage that may occur during transit.
*The cost of glaze firing for each piece is calculated separately. Oxidation firing cost = length x width x height (cm, minimum 4cm per side) x 0.15. Reduction firing cost = length x width x height (cm, minimum 4cm per side) x 0.2. Painting or dual-glaze cost = length x width x height (cm, minimum 4cm per side) x 0.2. Students can choose from the studio's glaze colors, and the instructor will apply the glaze.
*There are many uncontrollable factors during the kiln firing process. Beginner pieces are particularly prone to imperfections. There is a risk of cracking or shattering during biscuit and glaze firing, and no refunds will be issued.
**| Leave of Absence Policy |**
*Classes are by appointment only. For rescheduling personal leave, please provide at least 1 day's notice. Make-up classes or transfers can be arranged within one month. Failure to comply with this policy will result in no refund.
*If a student cancels a class due to unforeseen circumstances, make-up classes or transfers can be arranged within 90 days.
*In case of natural disasters or force majeure preventing attendance, you may choose to reschedule or transfer your class. Cancellations due to such events are eligible for a full refund.
