※ Handmade Soap Course Introduction:
We use only high-quality vegetable oils and the cold process method, with each person working on their own individual batch to fully enjoy the hands-on experience. Beginners are more than welcome; we will guide you through the fundamental theories and techniques.
For additives, we primarily choose natural botanical herbs, providing variety while offering gentle care for your skin. The fragrance comes from essential oils; however, if you prefer a richer, longer-lasting scent, you may choose to add fragrance oil instead.
Since our additives are primarily herbal and based on essential oils, natural materials will fade or evaporate over time. This is a normal phenomenon regarding the soap's color and scent and does not affect its usability.
※ The finished yield is approximately 1.1kg ± 100g, which can be cut into 10 bars. The soaps are primarily plain.
※ Course Fees
1. Includes: All raw materials, tools, handouts, and venue fees. We also handle insulation, drying, pH testing, trimming, vacuum-sealing, and shipping. (Shipping is limited to one recipient address, thank you.)
2. It is possible to make additional batches of the same soap. Starting from the second kilogram within the same session, we only charge a material fee of $900/1kg. For example, making 2kg of comfrey root handmade soap costs $2200 + $900 = $3100, giving you 20 bars of soap at an average of $155 per bar. It is a fantastic value for the whole family to use.

Workshop Description
Notes
1. If you are unable to attend for personal reasons after registering, please contact the studio at least 3 days before the event. You may transfer your spot to friends or family. Rescheduling or transfers are limited to one time. No refunds will be provided for late notice. In the event of a natural disaster, a full refund will be issued; cancellation standards follow the announcements of the Taichung City Government.
2. Due to limited space, we cannot accommodate non-registered companions. Thank you for your understanding.
3. Cold process soap requires sodium hydroxide, which is a strong, corrosive alkali. We recommend a minimum age of middle/high school students for participation. Please follow safety rules to enjoy the process safely.
4. Doors open 15 minutes before the session. To ensure the experience runs smoothly, classes will start on time.
5. We may take candid photos during the activity (no faces will be included). If you prefer that your hands-on process or products not be photographed, please let us know in advance, and we will respect your request.
6. Cold process soap requires 30-45 days of natural curing. The studio will handle demolding, drying, cutting, and pH testing after curing. Once complete, you may collect your soap at the studio or have it shipped to your designated address with free shipping (limited to one address in Taiwan).
7. Please be aware that the colors of cold process soaps are derived from natural materials and may vary between batches; this does not indicate poor quality.
8. If unexpected matters arise on a Thursday, we will notify you in advance if we need to cancel. We apologize for any inconvenience.
