-Artist introduction/Takashi Murakami
Takashi Murakami is a Japanese artist. He studied at Tokyo University of the Arts. He is the founder of the Superflat movement, a postmodern art style influenced by Japanese animation and manga that focuses on otaku culture and lifestyle. It was inspired by numerous eccentric ukiyo-e artists and the 1983 animated work "Harmagedon" by Iko Kaneda. Received BFA, MFA and PhD awards from Tokyo University of the Arts.
Takashi Murakami (Japanese, born 1962) is internationally renowned for his playful negotiation of various artistic styles and traditions. Murakami's work often combines Nihonga, a 19th-century Japanese painting style, with contemporary comics and Japanese pop culture, underpinned by a keen intellect. Drawing on a keen awareness of art history and contemporary visual culture, Murakami provides a layered assessment of consumption practices and contemporary life. Murakami coined the term "superflat" to describe the cultural commentary and aesthetic preferences of his work and other Japanese contemporary art. Murakami is also the founder and president of Kaikai Kiki Co. Ltd., an arts management company.

**The difference between whether there is Acrylic or not:**
》 Acrylic= one more layer of protection = one more layer of reflection
》No Acrylic= less layer of protection = you can directly see the work with better texture
I don’t know how to choose: (If there are children in the family, it is recommended to add Acrylic), (If there are adults in the family, you don’t need to use Acrylic)
