The lady on the other side is a lover of museum jewelry. I first received the earrings from an American antique dealer, and then I unexpectedly found the same set of brooch pendants in the collection of a British antique dealer. You guys said, let's meet across the sea~😍 (across the Atlantic and Pacific 🤩)
.
The set collected this time is a joint venture between MMA (Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, USA) and the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague (UMP, Uměleckoprůmyslové museum v Praze) in the Czech Republic in Europe. It is very rare.
After the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1918, the Czech Republic gained partial independence from Austria. Therefore, this set inherits the unique setting style of the Austro-Hungarian style and the colorful, deep and clear Czech crystal. At the same time, the star is formed by the interlacing of two crosses. With the clever crystal matching design, crosses of different levels can be seen no matter which direction it is rotated. The gilded lines between the crosses that extend like refracted light are exactly the same as the railings on the famous Charles Bridge in Prague, which are locked with love padlocks by countless couples (see the last picture).
Maybe it’s a coincidence, but it’s these details that create art that integrates history, religion, craftsmanship, landscape, and multiple aspects. This is also why museum jewelry is so attractive ❤️

When it comes to collecting old items and antiques, fate is an indispensable factor. And it is even more difficult to put together a set. As it’s Mother’s Day, I want to give priority to giving the set to the beauties who want to buy gifts. Beauties who want to purchase a full item can queue up first💕🌹
