We use specially selected "Xi Bei Porcelain" bisque – known for its white, smooth, and translucent quality – which enhances the brilliance of the painted designs. This course employs the "underglaze color" (Yō-chū-sai) technique, where designs are painted beneath the glaze. After high-temperature firing, the colors fuse with the glaze, resulting in a uniquely soft, lustrous finish with a subtle, flowing aesthetic.
