[Synopsis]
We've all endured too much unfairness.
Unfairness stems from a sense of injustice.
The helplessness lies in the fact that this injustice is encountered everywhere – in society, at work, in relationships, and in life.
Changing the world is difficult,
but the first step is to learn to refuse to let yourself be wronged any longer.
"If Every Relationship Has A Crack: Wronging Yourself Is Another Kind of Harm" is a particularly unique work by Chan Wing Shun in recent years. Unlike his previous dozen or so essay collections, this book includes four short stories. In addition to "The Uncles' Love Song," the novella from his directorial and screenwriting work "The Yuppie Fantasia," and "A Decade of Growth," the novella for Hins Cheung's MV "A Hundred Years of Trees," there are two previously unpublished works: "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter" and "Remembering the Years."
