Vintage Dutch teacup and saucer made by Mosa.
This company was founded in 1883 in Maastricht by Hubert Gérard Louis (Louis I), who was the fifth son of the famous Petrus Regout (founder of Royal Sphinx), together with his son Louis II. Mosa was what the Romans called Maastricht, as they were the founders of this city. In 1983, in honour of its 100th year anniversary, the company officially became Royal Mosa.
The back stamp on these items was in use between 1950 and 1983. This set is in fairly good condition with wear on the print and surface marks on the saucer due to usage. The photographs are a part of the description.
