Gently pull the back half of the pen body until it is fully detached. (Note: Maintain a straight horizontal pull. If it feels stuck, you can gently rotate it left or right.) Step 2. Unscrew the refill counter-clockwise. Step 3. Screw in the new refill clockwise. Step 4. Gently reinsert the back half of the pen body until it clicks into place.
