Product Description and Story
During the development of our indigo products, we discovered that many traditional Taiwanese color names were slowly being forgotten. This led us to plan a campaign to reintroduce these colors in a fresh new light through stationery.
Seasonal Limited Edition
This is one of Lan Nung Tool House's modest ambitions: to showcase Taiwan's seasonal landscapes and symbols. Each batch is produced for three months, and we hope you'll find joy in Taiwan's handcrafted inks.

Saury (Item No: LTO03018)
As autumn arrives, people celebrate the year's harvest and prepare for the fallow season. Yet, the ocean never pauses. Marine life, preparing to endure the winter's chill, begins to nurture its young. At this time, a large school of fish, shimmering like knives, prepares to migrate from the cold north to warmer waters to spawn. To gather energy for their long journey, they accumulate a year's worth of oil, so much that it forms golden fat around their mouths, marking the most delicious saury.

Taiwan golden-rain (Item No: LTO03019)
When you see a roadside tree adorned with red fruits, it signifies the end of typhoon season. The golden-rain tree is one of Taiwan's most striking roadside plants, transitioning from lush green to a profusion of golden flowers, followed by rich, yet elegant, red fruits, and finally maturing into steady, deep-colored fruits in winter. Its vibrant colors throughout the year have earned it the name "Four Seasons Tree."
In some regions, the golden-rain tree is even used to predict the typhoon season. When its golden flowers bloom, it signals the beginning of typhoon season, and when lantern-like red fruits hang from its branches, it indicates the season's end.

Pomelo (Item No: LTO03020)
If there's one fruit that excites children most in Taiwanese autumn, it's undoubtedly the pomelo. Leading up to the Mid-Autumn Festival, the most discussed topics are when and where to barbecue. Often, the entire week is spent around barbecues. People choose their main courses based on preference—some opt for beef, others for pork, and some indulge in a seafood feast. There are even those who enjoy grilled zucchini, clams, and enoki mushrooms. Yet, a pomelo always sits nearby, waiting patiently for post-meal conversations. Its sweet, sour, and slightly bitter taste offers a refreshing contrast to the richness of the main dishes. Playful children might take a pomelo, draw funny faces on it, or wear its peel as a hat, chasing each other around. The Jade Rabbit watches over them as another Mid-Autumn Festival concludes.
