1️⃣ [Characteristics of Ruskin lace]
This work was created by Victorian British thinker John Ruskin and others at the end of the 19th century, when he spent his last years in the Lake District.
It is often said that it resembles Italian Leticello embroidery, but traditional Ruskin lace is basically embroidered with linen thread on linen cloth and using threads of the same color as the cloth. (AFEcolour number No.417)
