It is fired at high temperatures, causing the Stone in the clay to melt and come to the surface. There are small dents in the lid and body, but these are caused by the Stone in the clay melting during firing. The inside is glazed, and small straining holes are carefully drilled. It is easy to pour from and the water drains easily. The lid is also well-fitted, so it fits perfectly. This piece was created using the experience of learning Ogawa-ryu Sencha tea, and would make a great gift for tea lovers. You can also enjoy watching the flavor deepen as you use it.
