Material Descriptions: The majority of the 14k gold-filled material used at the mixandfun design studio is brass plated with a layer of 1/20 14k gold. This is a popular choice in recent years, known for being easy to care for, maintaining its color longer, and being more accessible in price compared to solid 14k gold. Solid 14k gold, on the other hand, is entirely 14k gold throughout, containing approximately 58.5% gold, with the remainder being silver, iron, or copper. For Taiwan's climate, solid 14k gold is even easier to maintain, and its color is more refined. It's also a consideration for those with sensitive skin. Custom alloy is another material we frequently use. mixandfun carefully selects preferred, unplated chains and applies a special plating process, ensuring the color remains durable under normal wear. Wearing Precautions: 1. All jewelry materials are best put on after dressing and removed before changing into loungewear at home. Avoid wearing them while bathing, hot spring soaking, or swimming. 2. For earrings, we recommend attaching the included silicone stoppers to minimize the chance of loss. 3. Taiwan's climate is hot and humid. If jewelry is not worn for an extended period, gently wipe it with a soft cloth before storing it in a sealed bag. 4. For finer chains, make it a habit to fasten the clasp when removing them to reduce tangling. 5.
