Origin / Manufacturing Method: Taiwan / Original design and handcrafted piece by the artist. 【Gentle Reminders】 * Pure tin should be kept away from strong acids and alkalis (such as bathroom cleaners) to prevent corrosion and damage. * Pure tin will slowly oxidize and darken in air over time (much slower than silver or copper). It can generally be maintained with simple wiping. You can also use 'muzei cao' (available at Chinese herbal stores) mixed with dish soap to gently scrub the surface of tinware, which will restore its luster. However, oxidation cannot be completely removed. After cleaning, try to keep the piece dry and avoid prolonged contact with water, as this can lead to water stains and further oxidation. * As tinware is designed without coatings, its surface color will naturally change with time and handling due to oxidation. The studio recommends handling the piece with your hands for maintenance. Unless there is severe deformation or functional damage, minor signs of age are part of its unique aesthetic (the change from bright to dull is a normal oxidation process; frequent handling can help oils from your hands to adhere, reducing oxidation).
