In the TOQ pet hair memorial glass workshop, you can take part in the making process with the guidance of a teacher and visually confirm that your hair or keepsake is placed into the glass material. You will witness how the keepsake slowly becomes part of a glass piece through flame, heat, and handwork. This workshop is suitable for beginners, pet owners, families, and anyone who wishes to create a meaningful memorial object by hand. Pets may be welcome depending on the venue and safety conditions. Many people wonder: “How do I know that the hair or keepsake I provided is really placed inside the piece?” That is a very natural and important question. TOQ uses the TOQ CLEAR Process to make the key making process visible. C｜Confirmed You can visually confirm that your keepsake is placed into the glass material. L｜Live The key making process takes place on site. E｜Embedded The keepsake enters the glass and becomes part of the piece. A｜Assisted The teacher assists with technique, safety, flame control, and finishing. R｜Recorded Photos and videos are welcome within a safe range. If you care about seeing and confirming the placement of your keepsake, this workshop is especially suitable for you. ──────────────── What You Will Make Each participant will complete the following in about 2 hours: ・2 galaxy-pattern pet hair memorial glass beads ・Choice of Set A or Set B The finished beads are approximately 0.8–1 cm in diameter. The focus is to participate in the key process with teacher assistance and confirm that your keepsake enters the glass material. ──────────────── Will the Hair Remain Visible in the Glass? No. Organic keepsakes such as hair, whiskers, nails, and shed skin carbonize during the high-temperature lampwork process and form bubbles inside the glass. The hair will not remain as its original line, color, or clear texture.
