Designed and crafted by Wu Hong-Rui, a ceramic artist with 20 years of experience. Due to the lower success rate of gold and silver luster wood firing compared to traditional methods, he developed a unique firing technique that successfully achieved the desired metallic sheen. The natural ash glaze and kiln marks from the wood firing process are evident on the body of the vessel. When placed under light or sunlight, the high-temperature wood firing reveals its subtle layers and depth, with each facet shimmering with unique colors and luster, like a natural painting created by fire. The high-temperature firing in wood kilns generates carbon, which can soften water quality, making tea taste smoother. Adorned with small animal sculptures on the rim, these pieces bring a delightful and calming touch.
