We reuse broken or chipped ceramic items that would otherwise be discarded, applying Kintsugi to transform them into accessories. These are elegant ceramic fragments adorned with orange floral and leaf patterns. Kintsugi is applied to the sides of the ceramic pieces, allowing the gold to shimmer beautifully from every angle and adding a touch of refinement. This work uses a modern, simplified Kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional Kintsugi which uses natural urushi lacquer, this method uses adhesive for the initial bonding.
