About Washi vs. PET 1/ PET tapes may have a slight grain, while washi tapes have less. 2/ The unprinted areas of PET tape are transparent, making it easy to cut out motifs, which is more beginner-friendly for collage. Washi tape is opaque. 3/ PET tape features white ink, making it less prone to show through compared to washi tape. 4/ PET tape has a degree of water resistance, while washi tape is not waterproof. 5/ The overall effect of the special oil finish on PET tape is brighter, whereas the special oil finish on washi tape offers more depth and layering. Please Note Before Purchase 1/ There may be slight color differences between the actual product and images; the actual color prevails. 2/ The tape's seal may not be perfectly cut, with occasional incomplete patterns or residual adhesive. 3/ Minor shifts within 1mm for the special oil finish are considered normal. 4/ Washi tape is a thin, semi-transparent paper with a naturally slightly yellow hue, not pure white.
