ARSENAL plant, KIEV, 1983 KIEV-4M 35mm FILM RANGEFINDER CAMERA'S BODY ABOUT ITEM'S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!) Kiev-4 & Kiev-4A cameras with index "M" are slightly improved in comparison with old models: the head of shutter speeds is more pretty in using , "hot shoe" according with usual PC flash connecting, film rewind head with a handle (crank), the lens with better resolution than old Jupiter-8M 2.0:50mm, but first time cameras completed by both type of the lens. ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT Condition is nice cosmetically, leatherette and chrome finishing are complete, just examine item's photos please. The shutter is working fine. Exposure-meter looks in working condition, but however I never can be sure that such old device still really accurate. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Brand: Arsenal * Frame size: 24x36mm * Film type: usual 135 type film cassettes are applicable. * Complex slit shutter off profiled metallic stripes. * Shutter speeds: B, 1/2-1/1000 sec., synchronization with flash at 1/25 and more long shutter speeds. The camera has cable connection PC "synchro" socket and "hot shoe". NOTE: If You'll use a flash unit with high voltage synch cable or a "shoe" please be careful, that non-used contact at the camera will have a high voltage (150-250 volt win low total power)... it will not very nice for your fingers, even will not really dangerous. Thus don't remove plastic cover from "hot shoe" if you'll apply a flash unit with cable connection. * Lens mount: Contax type internal (for standard focus lenses) and external (for other lenses) bayonet. * Tripod socket 1/4". * Self timer is presented. * Built-in exposure-meter helps You to define aperture and shutter speed, can be installed film speed from 8 to 500 units ASA. Exposure meter uses sunlight selenium battery, it need no any other power sources. * The camera is a very nice in using and highly collectible. * The camera was made in USSR at Arsenal plant in 1983.
