A: Yes, you can specify delivery dates from Monday to Saturday (Saturday deliveries are only available for the lunchtime slot). This may be subject to change during public holidays, based on Black Cat's announcements. Q: When do you recommend the cake to be delivered? A: The cake will arrive frozen. We recommend delivery one or two days before the celebration. Thaw the cake in the refrigerator the day before the celebration. Q: Can I pick up at a convenience store? A: We currently do not offer convenience store pickup or cash on delivery. We use Black Cat's low-temperature frozen home delivery service. Q: What kind of pet photo is required? A: Please ensure the pet's ears and face are not cropped out in the photo for the best results. 【Ordering Information】 • We recommend ordering cakes 10-15 days in advance. If you are unable to meet this timeframe, please message us to inquire if a cake can be made before your pet's birthday. • Cakes arrive frozen and require thawing time. Please schedule delivery for one or two days before the celebration, not on the actual birthday. • Orders for added fondant figures will be updated daily on our shop based on monthly order volume. You can place an order for delivery within the selected date range. • As these are custom-made cakes, production begins only after order placement and payment. If payment is overdue and the order is canceled by the system, it will be considered a forfeited reservation, and no production will be arranged. • If you decide to cancel your order, you may do so up to seven days before the original delivery date. If there are any ingredients your pet cannot consume, please specify them in the remarks section, and they will be omitted. • [Mashed Potato + Unsweetened Coconut Milk] is the primary ingredient for cake frosting. The ratio is 2 parts potato to 0.1 parts unsweetened coconut milk. If your pet is allergic to these ingredients, mashed sweet potato can be substituted for frosting. Please note that cakes frosted with mashed sweet potato cannot have written messages and have limited style and color selections, maintaining a natural sweet potato color. 【Cake Base Ingredient Details】 • For Dogs: Meat + Broccoli + Carrot + Chia Seeds • For Cats: Meat + Crushed Dried Fish + Chia Seeds • If there are no specific allergens, both dog and cat cakes can be enjoyed by all pets. • The meat for the cake base is filled into molds to achieve the correct portion. Due to variations in moisture loss during baking, the [Size & Serving Guide] is for reference only. 【Coloring and Style】 • Frosting colors are achieved using natural fruit and vegetable powders. • When ordering, please specify your desired style and color palette in the remarks section (if no preference is noted, we will select a combination). Cookies are randomly paired. • As different designers have varying sensitivities to color, only color palettes are provided for selection. The depth of color within each palette is determined by the designer. 【Defrosting Precautions】 • It is recommended to refrigerate and thaw the cake for at least 12 hours before the celebration. If still frozen, allow it to thaw at room temperature or microwave on low heat. Consume within 2 days. • Complete thawing at room temperature takes approximately 1-2 hours. Some condensation is normal during this process. • For fully frosted cakes, a protective bubble wrap border is applied during shipping. Please remove this border while the cake is still frozen to prevent sticking. • When refrigerating or freezing, keep the cake inside its box to prevent the cake surface from drying out due to direct exposure to cold air, which can cause severe cracking. 【Shelf Life】 • When received frozen, the cake can be stored in the freezer for 15 days or in the refrigerator for 3 days. 【About Fondant Figurines】 • Fondant figures can only be purchased as an add-on when buying a cake; they are not sold separately. • Figurines are custom-made to resemble your pet's appearance and fur color, in our signature cute and cartoonish style. • Fondant is made primarily of sugar and is not recommended for pet consumption. • Upon receiving fondant figures, allow them to come to room temperature. They may appear sticky due to condensation but will gradually dry out over time. • Storage: Once dry, store fondant figures in a cool, dry place. 【Shipping Information】 • Black Cat low-temperature delivery incurs an additional fee of NT$160. • For deliveries to outlying islands (Penghu, Kinmen, Matsu, Green Island), please notify us separately as shipping fees differ from mainland Taiwan. • The following areas are excluded from parcel delivery services: Penghu County, Magong City (Hujing Island, Tongpan Island), Wang'an Township, Qimei Township, Baisha Township (Dacang Island, Yuanbei Island); Kinmen County, Lieyu (Dadan Island, Erdan Island), Wūqiu Township; Taitung County, Green Island; Diaoyutai Islands, Dongsha Islands, Nansha Islands. • Cake delivery carries inherent risks. This allows for buffer time in case of unforeseen circumstances during transit on the estimated delivery day. • If the cake is to be delivered to a location like a guesthouse, hotel, or restaurant for a celebration, please arrange for early delivery to the venue. The establishment can then store it appropriately, preventing issues on the day of the event. • If the cake is not delivered on the specified date and time, please contact Black Cat customer service or us by 16:00 on the same day. We will investigate the situation and resolve the issue promptly. Please note that issues cannot be resolved after the Black Cat station closes for the day and will require waiting until the next business day. We are not responsible for issues reported after this time. • If the recipient requires a phone call upon arrival, please inform us. We will specifically request the courier to call the recipient to avoid the courier leaving if no one is available to receive the package. • If you are unsure if someone will be available to receive the delivery or if the recipient can be reached by phone, we recommend picking up the package directly from the Black Cat operating station during business hours.
