The seventh son

This painting is inspired by Imagine Dragons' album cover for "Mercury – Acts 1 & 2" and their song "Higher Ground." In this song, the mention of the seventh son is interpreted differently across cultures; some see the seventh son as blessed, while others view them as cursed. "Higher Ground" tells the story of a seventh son who is despised by society and not seen as blessed. He has faced many trials, and the hateful words have never ceased. However, he never gives up hope and continues to search for a higher place, where he is accepted and considered the most fortunate seventh son, blessed by the divine.
