Original floral embroidery, crafted by artisans in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture—a renowned hub for Japanese embroidery—has been transformed into charming earrings (Posts and Clip-ons) by our designer. The motifs are created by machine-embroidering onto a water-soluble film, which is then dissolved, leaving only the embroidery threads. As no fabric is used, these earrings are exceptionally light, weighing just 3g per pair including the hardware, ensuring comfortable wear with minimal strain on your ears. (3g is equivalent to the weight of three 10-yen coins.) The thread motifs capture the sunlight, creating a sheer effect, and sway gently in the breeze, gracefully adorning your face. The design is inspired by the Eschscholzia californica that blooms along roadsides and in open fields in early spring. Though an introduced weed, its vibrant, swaying form evokes the changing seasons. This refreshing lavender hue is a perfect match for spring outfits.
