【HIBI / Daily Essentials Cutlery Series】
In Japanese, "HIBI" (日々) carries multiple meanings related to everyday life.
The HIBI cutlery aims to be at the heart of people's daily routines, designed with "eternity" as its foundation. This is a series of simple pieces meant to be cherished for days, years, and even decades.

【About the Designer - Shin Azumi】
Shin Azumi graduated from the Royal College of Art in the UK in 1994 and established his personal studio, "a studio," in London in 2005.
His designs span a wide range of products, including furniture, lighting, and electronics.
His work has received global recognition and is part of the permanent collections of numerous museums, such as the Victoria & Albert Museum (UK), Stedelijk Museum (Netherlands), and Die Neue Sammlung (Germany).
Awards include the Good Design Award of the Year 2009, the Classic Innovation Award, and the Restaurant & Bar Design Award.
【A Comfortable User Experience】
"How can it be more comfortable?" This question was the starting point for the HIBI design.
Every moment, from when it's held in the hand to when it's brought to the mouth, is guided by a pursuit of comfort and a sense of stability.
In this pursuit of balance, unnecessary ornamentation has been discarded.
Through its simplified, rounded form and a base that gradually tapers, the designer has created a sense of balance and a smooth feel when held.
【Tailored for Eastern Hands】
Japanese culinary culture has evolved with Western influences, blending rice-based meals with Western cuisine. However, Western cutlery can feel somewhat cumbersome for smaller Eastern hands.
The HIBI designer has adopted dimensions smaller than the standards typically considered by Western countries, specifically tailoring the pieces for Eastern users, ensuring a warm and comfortable grip.
