With a hardness of 6.5-7, jadeite is relatively easy to carve and polish, making it a common material for carved pieces and jewelry in the market. Currently, some jadeite undergoes strong acid immersion or laser etching to fill in colors, making lower-quality jadeite appear similar to high-grade jadeite. In the market, jadeite products are typically identified by the letters A, B, and C to distinguish their quality: - Grade A Jadeite: Natural, untreated jadeite. - Grade B Jadeite: Bleached and resin-infused jadeite, treated with strong acid washing and resin filling. - Grade C Jadeite: Dyed jadeite, treated with artificial coloring. Only Grade A jadeite is considered genuine; others are artificially treated. 💖l Care Instructionsl - For long periods of non-wear, store in a moisture-proof bag to minimize contact with air. - Store each piece of jewelry separately to prevent scratches from friction. For chain jewelry, fasten the clasp and store it in a moisture-proof bag to prevent tangling. - Sterling Silver: Use a silver polishing cloth. - Gold-filled/plated material: Use a cotton cloth (do not use silver cleaning solution). - Jadeite: Use a soft toothbrush with clean water to gently brush the jadeite. Rinse with clean water and dry with a cotton cloth or allow to air dry in a well-ventilated area. Avoid wearing all jewelry when visiting hot springs or coming into contact with seawater. It is recommended to remove jewelry when showering. Avoid contact with chemical products to prevent oxidation and discoloration. - It is recommended to apply sunscreen and perfume before putting on jewelry. - All jewelry is handmade. Avoid pulling, bending, twisting, or yanking when wearing. 🌹l Pre-Purchase Noticel - Jadeite is a natural mineral, so it is inevitable that there may be naturally occurring fine stone lines, cotton inclusions, stone veins, black spots, white impurities, mineral defects, sand holes, or ice patterns. These are all natural phenomena and characteristics, not flaws. Please consider this before purchasing. ♥ - Due to hand-carving, there may be slight roughness or unevenness in polishing and finishing. We appreciate your understanding. - Product photos are taken in natural light without retouching. However, due to individual screen resolutions and settings, there may be some color differences.
