Unique ALUPALAN, unique persimmon dyeing, creating unique natural hues
ALUPALAN persimmon dyeing originates from the foothills of Shoufeng Township, Hualien County, among the Amis people. Due to the abundance of native persimmon varieties in early times, and as the Amis name for persimmon is "Alup," the community was named "Ci alupalan," meaning "a place with many persimmons."
ALUPALAN utilizes local native persimmon varieties and common plant extracts to brew dye liquids, harnessing time and climate to present a unique approach to plant-based dyeing artistry on fabric.
Characterized by earthy tones, persimmon dyeing embodies a grounded personality. The interplay of natural elements and objects serves as a gentle reminder of nature's embrace.
Product Notes: Due to variations in patterns and hues from each dyeing batch, items are shipped randomly, and specific patterns or colors cannot be selected.
