In 1947, grandfather Guo Xi-quan founded it with products woven from Taiwanese water sedge. After the third generation joined, they named the studio after their grandfather, continuing his passion for weaving. At Si Cyuan, the third generation of weavers works alongside their mother, supported by a group of beloved grandmothers and aunts who share a deep love for weaving. Together, they preserve traditional culture and develop innovative designs. The third generation at Si Cyuan weaves the rich culture of their hometown, continuing authentic craftsmanship. The simple, handmade texture is a gift from nature and an expression of their connection to home.
