Vintage English tea cup and saucer with an ivy pattern made by Colclough. Colclough Bone China was founded in 1890 in Staffordshire, by Herbert J. Colclough who was the ex-Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent. It eventually became part of the Royal Doulton brand in the early 1970's, and all Colclough production was discontinued in 1996, The mark at the bottom was in use in the 1950s and 1960s.
This set is in fairly good condition with wear on the gold, especially on the cup's rim and handle, and surface marks on the saucer.
