The Rufous-faced Warbler is a small bird endemic to Taiwan.
It inhabits low to mid-altitude mountainous areas,
primarily active in the upper and middle layers of sparse deciduous forests,
and also forages at forest edges or in low shrubs.
It is known to carry ants on its body and rub itself,
a behavior referred to as 'anting' in literature.
