The Mochi Backpack is our first foray into backpack design, featuring a thoughtful pairing of beige canvas and natural rush. The soft beige hue beautifully complements the unique aesthetic of woven rush. The canvas itself is both durable and lightweight, offering ample capacity for your essentials. The straps and select design elements are crafted from vegan leather. This vegan leather offers a texture akin to genuine leather, is washable, and its resistance to sun exposure makes it the perfect partner for rush, which thrives in sunlight! The rush panels are secured with vegan leather, forming a trapezoidal structure that accommodates the backpack's expandable nature. This design also cleverly avoids friction with your clothing, minimizing wear on the rush and extending the life of your woven piece. Leather tabs are incorporated to cinch the bag inwards when worn, providing security without the need for clasps. Inside, you'll find three small pockets, perfect for organizing your phone, wallet, and other small items. Variations in grass thickness and the weaver's technique result in unique textures for each finished product. Building upon traditional grading, and incorporating the finest current standards, our rush woven items are categorized by fineness into four grades: Coarse Weave (Classic), Medium Weave, Fine Weave, and Exquisite Weave. Weave density is measured per Taiwanese inch (1 Taiwanese inch = 3.03 cm). One row is formed by the intersection of upper and lower strands. Keep Dry Please keep the product dry and avoid storing it in boxes or damp spaces for extended periods. If the item will not be used for a while, ensure it is dry before storing it in a sealed bag. 2. Bask in the Sun Occasionally Exposing rush items to sunlight enhances their natural fragrance. When the scent fades, it's time for another sunbath! 3. Wipe Clean, Do Not Soak To clean, use a damp cloth. A mild, neutral detergent can also be used for spot cleaning. Never submerge the item in water. 4. Gentle Brush for Mildew If the item encounters moisture and develops mildew, gently brush away the affected area with a soft bristle brush. The backpack has a weight capacity of approximately 2.5 kg. Exceeding this limit for extended periods may shorten the product's lifespan. 2. As each item is purely handmade, slight variations in grass color and weave are normal and do not constitute significant defects. Returns or exchanges will not be provided for such instances. 3. Rush is a natural material. Please carefully review the care instructions. We cannot accept returns or exchanges for damage or mildew caused by improper personal use or storage. 4. This item is entirely handwoven and requires 5 working days to create (excluding weekends). Please do not place an order if you are unable to wait. For environmental sustainability, plastic bags will only be used as an additional layer when weather conditions are unfavorable, ensuring the integrity of the rush-woven product.
