Ghost City x Hibāng
Abandoned fishing nets in the ocean are called ghost fishing-nets. And Hibāng made the ghost into glasses. On the 2022 Western Ghost Festival Halloween, Hibāng and Ghost City, which is curated by internationally renowned artist Chou Shih Hsiung, jointly launched Taiwan Ghost Mirror môo-sîn-á (Magic God Boy). Moshenzai (Taiwanese môo-sîn-á) is a kind of ghost or spirit that induces humans to get lost in the mountains in the folklore widely circulated in mountain villages in Taiwan and Fujian.
The môo-sîn-á shape is taken from the classic Boston box shape, with a rounded egg shape and an edge between the eyebrows, which outlines the old-fashioned personality in the classic. The temples on both sides are printed with môo-sîn-á, which is a text and a symbol, and the trend is bursting. Two special colors, ghost pink with rose Silver sunglasses and misty gray with silver-plated gray sunglasses, have a mysterious but joyful sense of conflict, echoing the atmosphere conveyed by the ghost city. Limited to 18 pairs (9 pairs of one color), each pair has a limited number on it, and each one is unique. Ghost City debut, sold out no longer.
During the Christmas period, it will be released exclusively on Pinkoi.
Hibāng Youyu Recycling Glasses are designed, developed and produced by Haoshuo and will be released for the first time in 2021. They are the world's first full-cycle glasses made from Taiwan's discarded fishing nets. Received the 2022 Golden Pin Design Badge and was shortlisted for the Best Design of the Year.
