To showcase the craftsmanship of her father, Wong Yuen Cheung, she persists in selling scales, even when her children encourage her to retire. *** I love Hong Kong's small shops because the owners remember customers' preferences, there's space for a friendly chat, and their personalities shine through. Most of these artworks were drawn on-site at the small shops, capturing the subtle interactions between shopkeepers and customers through the act of drawing.
