In the garden after dark, several leaves gently spin and fall, landing on the soil, dry leaves resting with serene elegance. They are left behind, and we pick them up, examining them closely. The leaves shed from the main body are not devoid of beauty. The process of shedding is akin to human thoughts, a lingering echo of an idea. Finally, they silently drift down, existing without a trace. We dry them and immerse them in boiling wax until it bubbles, preserving their form. In this collection, we present each piece with distinct characteristics, retaining the velvety texture of the spore leaves, their crescent moon shape as they spin and fall, reassembling them to give them new forms. We convey this sentiment, these once-present emotions. Fallen onto sphagnum moss, they were gathered and became the muse for one of our creations.
