It was a groundbreaking compact camera, being the world's first to incorporate a built-in flash, which popped up – a mechanism that later became a standard in camera design. This camera earned the affectionate nickname "Pikkari Konica" (Sparkling Konica) and became incredibly popular for its ability to capture photos without failure, even in low light conditions. It is equipped with a highly regarded Hexanon 38mm F2.8 prime lens, producing beautifully sharp images. The exposure is controlled by a program AE system, meaning you can achieve stunning photos just by pressing the shutter, without needing prior knowledge of shutter speeds or apertures. While many C35 EF models listed elsewhere have malfunctioning flashes, this unit has been meticulously serviced and checked by mi-na to ensure the flash operates perfectly before shipping.
