*Last one available I believe the true beauty of hydrangeas is revealed under the dim, rainy skies of the rainy season. The gentle spring rain, softly falling and wetting the leaves and petals, is the "flower-blooming rain" that makes hydrangeas smile. I have crafted this piece to capture their form as if plucking a single branch, so that it may be cherished for years to come. For the "frame" of the hydrangea (the part we commonly call the flower), I selected a beautiful acrylic bead floral motif with iridescent colors of magenta pink, green, and blue, reminiscent of iris glass, on a matte, moist-textured fabric. At the center of the hydrangea, representing the actual flower, I chose glass stones that sparkle as if holding raindrops. The colors were selected from vintage crystal glass stones by Swarovski of Austria and glass stones by Preciosa of the Czech Republic. The blue tones range from transparent to milky white, and colorless transparent "Vitrail Light," which shimmers with a purple to rainbow hue, and "Mesmera," which changes color from purple to pale green under natural and fluorescent light. The metal parts setting the glass stones are deadstock vintage parts, said to have been supplied to the workshop of the legendary costume jewelry brand Miriam Haskell, but which remained in existence without being assembled into accessories. While I don't know how these parts were used by Miriam Haskell, the image of them sparkling in the center of the hydrangea came to mind, so I acquired as many as I could. As these are rare parts with an uncertain prospect of future procurement, the sales quantity will be limited to two. Dewdrops dripping from the leaves are represented by Czech beads. I hope you can feel the delicate charm of hydrangeas glistening in the dripping rain through the color palette and material selection. To ensure you can use it with peace of mind, a silicone brooch stopper is included. The 5th image shows the brooch placed on a tray, sized for an adult woman's hand. They may feel slightly loose, but they are securely fastened to prevent detachment, so you can use them with confidence. Be careful, as the wire securing the "frame" flowers of the hydrangea may break if repeatedly bent and straightened. Please avoid using on fabrics where needle holes would be noticeable.
